Aaron Choi is an actor, writer and artist. Originally from the rural hills of Ohio, Aaron’s love of drawing came from his mother and the lack of cable TV. Growing up, he attempted to capture life and his dreams on paper and canvas. Although he strove for realism, everything ended up looking like a bad imitation of a Peanuts cartoon. As he got older he focused more on performing, but painting and drawing continued to be a creative outlet for him.

As a performer, Aaron struggled with his weight and physical look. After a scary run up multiple flights of stairs and feeling like death afterwards, he realized it was time to lose weight. The dieting, exercising, doing 11 performances of a show a week, he finally lost a good amount of weight and improved his health.

After he lost the weight, he was overjoyed but quickly realized that keeping it off was going to be a much harder task. Laziness, greasy food and overeating were around every corner. He often blamed his food cravings and lack of going to the gym on his “inner fat kid” overriding his choices.

The comedic frustrations of his “inner fat kid” continued onto his Facebook statuses. Many friends and colleagues commented on how they enjoyed the statuses. That’s when Aaron decided to fuse his love for comedy and drawing together…and what better subject than his “Inner Fat Kid.”
